I think J.C. reached his Zenith with Natasha in Maximum Risk...

How can you top a tag line that goes "Welcome to the otherside of safe"?

The answer is you can't!

Dude, yesterday I found the scene where he's on the cross from Cyborg, I was in bliss. Thats one of his best movies, that went under the radar, imo B.S. and Cyborg were his best.

I can really remember cyborg too well. I think I watched it with Victor. Is that the one that was set in a generic post apocalyptic world? I vaguely remember a fight sequence set around a derelict building.

DIDYOUKNOW: Bolo was 50 years old when he made Blood Sport.

Posted by genscape on Apr-15-2007 05:49:

JCVD was actaully close to finishing up an official sequel (i know theres others) to Bloodsport called simply 'KUMITE', don't know what happend to that project but I heard it had something to do with Frank Dux and JCVD not being on good terms...

Yeah, Dux claimed that Van Damme failed to live up to an oral agreement to pay him 2.5 percent of the gross revenue from The Kumite.

So close to a sequel, omfg ... and all stopped because of a 2.5 percent revenue argument ... what a bunch of fucking douche ... Van Damme should of coughed up the cash, but Dux should stop tryin to be greedy. I cant believe there was an actual sequel in the works, when was this? Maybe theyll pickup where they left off somehow.

thank goodness they did'nt make it...they were just gonna go ahead and do it after the frank dux/jcvd thing but they had changed the names of the main characters and had a lame storyline in which jcvd and bolo yueng teamed up as the heroes of the movie

LOL, ur kidding... bolo young/dux teamup .. whoever wrote the script should be locked in a box with rats.
