It's 1:44AM in NY.

I have no times sources in my house, nor a map to let me know where I am

Posted by Marc Summers on Apr-15-2007 05:45:

It is 1:45 am.

I am trying to transfer some files from my laptop to my PC. It's fun and I am almost done.

And you know what? I may eat some acid.

the concept of dissecting the human experience into some form of linear time-frame has always escaped me.

a means to define one instance from another.

Posted by Marc Summers on Apr-15-2007 07:11:

No, you don't understand.

What is time?

Is time the same for a mosquito, who lives for a few week? Or a tortoise who lives for 100+ years? think about it.

think about it

Posted by Silky Johnson on Apr-15-2007 07:12:

we're the only species on this planet that is aware of the passing of time. it was an otherwised undiscovered event that served no purpose. it doesn't really boggle me. though the fact that light does not age is a bit boggling.

I dont fucking know anyone here but I am so fucked up oh fuck yeaaaaaaaaaa LOL

That's what humans believe, at least. It's hard to gauge something like comprehending time. It seems like it's a genetic thing. Also, we haven't found every species of all living things on this planet as of (if ever), so knowing the answer to this difficult question is not possible.

Another absurd concept. Tying the two together is silly.
