Mauro Picotto - Maybe, Maybe Not

Anyone heard this track yet? Very VERY strange release from Mauro...it's a very mellow techno for Mauro. Is he moving away from the really hard chainsaw techno or what? Anyway, samples up on Beatport.

Well for the past year or so he has been slowly switching to minimal techno (yeh what a surprise) and tech house. He played in Caracas on October last year, 4 hours full on techno, tech trance and then last couple of hours he played some dark tech house and minimal... he even grabbed the mic and yelled "this is minimal" lolz.

He played again here 10 days ago in a nearby island, started minimal and finished with tech house... needless to say everyone got raped that nite, one of the few pleasant surprises of the year.

I quite like it. He's also got a track on his new elemnts releases which is decent, but I prefer the athos and ricky ferri tunes on there.

I can't say I'm a fan of those tunes, there's so many in this kinda style that none of it really sticks out as being special imo

I love "Maybe", the full version has been up on his my space for quite some time...I asked him about it and it was supposed to come out this month. Good to see it's true.

If you think "Maybe" is different, then listen to "Evribadi". Very housey tech-house...listen to it and you'll know what I mean.

I really like this new Mauro Picotto sound

wow, alittle different for Mauro...

I really hope he doesn't move away from Banging hard techno into minimal...we have enough dj's doing that now..PLEASE Mauro keep it HARD!
