Do you wipe from "front to back" or "back to front"??

I had a disscussion with some people at work about this yesterday and they thought I was gross from wiping from "back to front"?? everyone says they go "front to back" because they don't want any crap on there taint area...I now go home to find out my girldfriend also goes "back to front"??? what is the right way to go here?

i dunno to be honest what i do.. i probably do both depending on where the toilet paper is located. because sometimes i use my right hand and sometimes my left.

I go back to front. It's weird, but I have my reasons. I usually wipe while squatting over the shitter, because otherwise things could get messy if you try to stand up before you wipe. Therefore it's easier to do a few swipes from top to bottom, so to speak. I've never gotten crap on my balls or junk - ever.

The hole isnt the size of a baseball.... you shouldnt have to wipe an 8 inch span unless your cheeks were pressed together. Either way cleans it.
