dumbest thread ever

OK, this is (so far) the stupidest question I've asked, but I'm gonna do it anyway.

I just got a new phone and want some RINGTONES. Anyone know good sites for:
-Trance/EDM?
-That cool ring on the CTU phones on 24?

Yes, I'm an asshat. Anyone helping contribute to my asshat-ery will be forever held in high esteem by the crack lady.

this been brought up before so you not the first here, crack lady.

all i can say is that i split up mp3 files into my own personal ring tones.

i just wanted to say that i'm glad people are starting to use the word asshat.

I do appreciate you letting me know I'm not alone. But see now, the phrase "i split up mp3 files" just makes my head spin. Me not know nothing about computer. Me prefer to click button and pay $2.50.

i kno what you mean. my head was spinning when i read "CTU phones on 24".

you have a USB wire & a disc that came with your phone that lets you interface with the PC???

what kinda phone do you use? if u have sprint I can give u some info on how to do it yourself, it's easy

USB cable, check... There was a little disky thing (says SanDisk microSD/TransFlash Adapter), don't know what the fukk it's for...

may be one of your more techier friends can explain to you, unless you wanna figure out yourself, on how to hook your phone to your PC so you can send your own costum made little ringtones to your phone. (you have the needed accessories) If you willing to make your own ringtones, I can supply you a program that will let you cut songs into ringtones.

Don't bother w/ the cable.. if it's anything like my phone it's fuckin USELESS.

What you'ev got to do is d/l an mp3 trimmer(it's EASY). For PC use mp3 cutter 4: http://home.hccnet.nl/p.luijer/. For Mac use http://www.deepniner.net/mp3trimmer/

When you've figured that out(should take 2 secs to mess around and trim the part of the song you want)... this is the key. Go to http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/. This'll allow you to send the mp3 file to your phone number. Once you've uploaded it, it'll come to your phone just like a text message does... open it and d/l the song and voila.

keep in mind though that the d/l charges per k/b received... so keep the song file under 25 seconds(u prob don't need much longer than that anyway)

i wonder if you got all that??? ^^

PS. chanman7483, just told you what I was trying to explain little by little to you, only I just learned myself that Sprint does it their own 'Pain in arse' way.
