Anything going on this weekend besides "Fairy" @ Vangaurd and other trance parties?
This past weekend was really bad for me, and I need to make up for it. So far, the only thing that catches my interest is Basic on Friday 
This Friday we bring you a special 4/20 celebration: the birthday bash for Basic's Adam Hagen and Hoang "Beaver" Luu. These two funkmeisters will be smoking the decks with LA's Architects of Sound.

You don't have any desire to see Ferry? I have NEVER seen him before so all I've had to go by is his CD's? Seen him too many times? Why doesn't he "catch your interest?" Just curious :-)

basically the opposite of ferry.
imo ferry's t/l's are waaaaaaaay too stagnant and you can almost set your watch to him playing 50% if not more of his own tracks.

matt the venues are pretty close to each other. all in hollywood. maybe a cabs ride away. not sure about walking.
and kris, from your post in the past about who you like, djs you've seen, etc, i think that ferry will be the way for you to go. he is way fun behind the decks and you will dance.
i just saw him in miami so i will be skipping his set to see Astrix!!!! but that's me, i LOVE psy-trance and jOOf drops so many of his productions that i love that i would be insane not to go

Thanks! I appreciate your insight and enjoy learning about the new stuff too since I have been living in my own little trance world since 1999 and have never ventured out to explore anything else unless they are playing before one of my favorites. That's just one reason I love all of you so much as you make me learn about other things and I think its really good for me. *Hugs* I appreciate your insight :-)
One thing I did learn though from TA is that I am not much of a drum and person. But, what ever floats your boat is great for me :-)
