Blackberry issues

Anyone else experiencing blackberry issues in GTA area?

I just got through to RIM tech support and they said they are experiencing a nationwide outage, at least in the US and Canada (North America). Not sure if this is everyone, or if it's just widespread and is affecting multiple areas. There is no ETA on the resolution. I guess we will just have to wait.

I have been dealing with this all day! RIM is still resetting their servers and this is gonna take a while. Oh well, it just means I get to send the same email over and over again to Custies =). this could very well take until tomorrow. This is not the first time this has happened. This happened I believe 2 years ago and it was very similar. Lasted then over 2 days as well.

EDIT The whole western hemisphere is expereincing this. Oh well. The suits will have to wait. lol. RIM says services are currently "slowly" returning to normal.

One of my best friends got laid off here at HP, and now working for them in Kitchener. He likes it there now.

actually there is a huge Cingular blackberry outage in north america

a lot of our clients are having blackberry issues here at IBM

it is a severity one and i will notify you guys of updates haha

My friend's dad is a veep over there. People love it there cuz they're expanding so fast... most of the time people just get hired and barely do any work VERY laid back.

Also.. regarding the topic.. lots of corporate people were probably running around with their heads chopped off last night. Blackberries have become ubiquitous in corporate settings.
