is it possible to do a full mix on ONE of these using 2 stereo outs and the Alpha Track ??

i can start the Main track then mix an Alpha into it but then cant get back to the Main track while the Alpha is playin to mix another..

is this not possible ??

Do you have the manual,
god i hate my 5000's,
i dont use the alpha track so i cant tell you right now,
my manual is at my other house.

apparantly its complicated as hell to use the alpha track not many people seem to know how to use it.

Yeah it's possible. You just need to have all the tracks you want to play on the same cd. It's really not that complicated to use the alpha track. I havn't used the DNS5000 for a while but if I remember right there's just a button that will switch between the main and alpha tracks. It's pretty cool.
