Early-late 90s housey stuff

I got exposed to alot of this by my older brother before I was old enough and started clubbing in the golden era of trance.

As such, I know alot of tracks, but don't know their names.

Could anyone recommend some gooduns along the lines of:

Golden Girls - Kinetic (Orbital)
Armand van Helden - You Don't Know Me
Candi Station - You Got The Love
Junior Jack - My Feeling
Tori Amos - Professional Widow (Armand's Star Trunk Funkin' Mix)

1994-1999 prefs, and I am aware that the general feel is a commercial one, but I don't care, as they were fun

Cheers

That is no fix. Originals ftw plz, especially for The Nightcrawlers. That little bit at the end with "push it, just push it...push the feeling on". NEEDS to be in that track.

Although to be fair, I've never heard that 12" Choice mix

Everything but the girl - Missing (Todd Terry Club Mix)
Mousse T vs Hot 'n' Juicy - Horny (Boris Gets Horny Mix)
Phats & Small - Turn Around
The Face - Needin' U (Original Mistake)
Pete Heller - Big Love
Dario G - Sunchyme

stonebridge remix of robin s is more or less the original mix, i've told you this before. the original was dumped by the records label after they heard stonebridge's remix and made it the main version

and the BiR remix of billie ray martin BLOWS the original production by the grid out of the water, i love the original but BRM's vocals does not fit on a eurodance beat like the grid's original.

and mk's dub of doom of nightcrawlers was the version that made the original famous, without it, it would have never been re-released in 1994.

and the 12" choice remix of finally. it is like the original david morales remix but just better.

I knew that about the Stonebridge mix but I didn't feel like mentioning it The only major difference is the length. And saying the 12" choice mix is like the original but better doesn't make any sense lol. And just because MK's dub of doom made 'Push The Feeling On' "famous" doesn't mean it's better than the original.

mk's dub of doom is better, has those really sweet korg synths that stoney used in his robin s remix and absolute gorgeous strings. when it was first released in 92, noone played the original, everyone played mk's rerub, and when it re-released for the second and third time, which versions was the main attraction, the borderline eurodance original??? no, it was the mk remixes.

ahh can't wait to play that tomorrow night

and of course
danny tenaglia feat. celeda - music is the answer

this is a little early but how about

code 718 - equinox

Ok then I like the original better.

What do you think the motivation behind this thread was?

Posted by bamski on Apr-20-2007 09:01:

Some might not be considered house(y) but judging on these replies i think these would easily fit in..

Gat Decor - Passion
Black Box - Ride On Time
Olive - You're Not Alone
Mighty Dub Katz - Magic Carpet Ride
Blue Boy - Remember Me
Rhythm Is Rhythm - Strings Of Life
Baby D - Let me Be Your Fantasy
Corporation Of One - The Real Life
Gala - Freed From Desire
