Don't you think it would have been better if the track was called summer sun, since its suppose to be the summer track?

I dont think so. "summer sun" would fit in better with a happy tune. This is more of a sad tune. Southern sun sounds perfect IMO.

Anyways, I think the Chicane - Autumn Tactics (Thrillseekers Remix) still has the edge over Southern Sun...

and i'm waitin' for a Summer Sun, not no Southern Sun!

by the way, yesterday was the first time i heard Southern Sun (I refused to listen to the live rips) and I was pleasently surprised. I like all the mixes.

Alright, seeing that there are about 1000 threads about this song, I decided not to make another one and hope that someone reads this one.

Why are the vocals different in the Tiesto remix single of this track than the version he plays at DD? I think those vocals are best. Is this what changed between his two remixes of this song?? The vocalist doesn't even sound the same... GREAT TRACK STILL!!!

Well, nothing is confirmed, BUT...i read a while ago that Tiesto had access to other vocal bits that Paul didn't use in the original, and since we think the one he played at DD was the In Search of Sunrise Mix, he probably used the vocals for that.

Ok, Southern Sun is good...but not that good. To compare it to Autumn Tactics is a joke
