ok heres a new topic and a different one from the southern sun topics...which traks can we lay to rest as traks that are overplayed and were good...

1) dj tiesto - flight 643
2) iio - rapture

You should probably add PPK - Resurection to the list. It was a great tune, but it dont need to hear it as often as I do.

Resurrection and Rapture!!!!

Rapture was played EVERYWHERE, with loads of mixes, and now it's being played all over the place on the radio.... UGH!!!

Resurrection was canned, and canned, and canned, by every DJ. but when Jules "scratched" to it, the song elevated to "super played out" status.

errrrrr fukin Sandstorm, I didn't even like that song 2 - 2 1/2 years ago when it was NEW and now I hear it more then ever on the friggin radio.

Rapture should be layed to rest, cause it's goin the same way as sandstorm

and New Energy Dreamland I just never liked the song, and wish we could move on to bigger better tracks

While i can say this song got some significant play time, i don't think Chicane could ever be grouped in the overplayed category. He is one of the best (the best IMO) and his stuff deserves whatever playtime it gets. I can listen to his tracks over and over again so i think overplay is not possible. In reality, i am very biased but i think Chicane doesn't get the credit he deserves.
