thom yorke - the eraser (sasha remix)

ever released? if not, any plans to?

I'm guessing this might be on his Involver 2 album....maybe!

Sasha on the remix? Are you sure you're not confusing it with the Stretch and Vern Edit that he's canned for a while now?

Man, I had fun that night.

Lucky lucky boy.

Saw Sasha play it in March and Nick Warren play it last night and it's the Stretch & Vern Edit, not Sasha's. I don't think Sasha would put out anything that standard. Fun little jam for the club, but I prefer the original.

The transition with Lostep - Burma in the Hybrid BBC 6 mix (in Oct 06) is a pure bliss.

the only reason i say sasha remix is because a month or so ago in the sasha newsletter it talks about how sasha played a remix of thom yorke's "eraser"... so i guess i'm talking about the sasha remix.

No, you're talking about the "Stretch & Vern Edit" he plays.

Just because he plays a mix, doesn't mean it's his.

there was a thread about this a while back

Posted by keithos27 on Apr-22-2007 14:59:

Not to hard to find in 320 on the interwebs.

Posted by nsamadi on Feb-24-2008 03:37:

Is this a Sasha remix?.....or is he using just the acappella?......I like this one more than the S&V Edit.....

Posted by Tangil on Feb-24-2008 04:40:

Did anyone ever manage to find a copy of Kings of Leon - Milk (Stretch & Vern Bootleg)?

And that new clip does sound similar to Sasha's newer productions, especially Mongoose.

Posted by iammesol on Feb-24-2008 04:46:

Yeah that's pretty sick. Still love the synthwork in the S&V Edit though.

There's a vinyl rip out there.

And yes, that video is fucking awesome looking. Whatever is going on there, I approve of it in a major way.

Posted by nsamadi on Feb-24-2008 05:56:

I have the S&V bootleg of that King of Leon track..but it's in a lower quality mp3.

The video is nice..I really would like to know if it's a mashup (so ID the track) with The Eraser Acappella, or a totally new remix at the moment...

Posted by idoru on Feb-24-2008 08:41:

With the way the vocal quickly drops out when it gets to "the more you try..." I'd say he's just layering it on top of another track.

Posted by jupiterone on Feb-24-2008 08:47:

the S&V mix of Eraser was alright, the bass was absolutely awful though.

Satoshi Tomiie version rips the Stretch & Vern remix to bits.
