Drum sounds for Trance???
Where can I find some really good Trance drum sounds?
I have listen to some sample cd:s but none of them sounds very good produced and uninspiring.
Anybody who knows what sample CD or software that is really good produced and ready for Trance music?
What are all good professional producers use????
I dont want any loops because I want to make my own drum patterns.
Thanks!

Vengeance Essential Club sounds Pack 1&2

Big Fish Drums Overkill.

Doru Malaia Superdrums 8000
Tons of good samples, esp. snares & hats. Clean, non-FX'd samples. The kicks are quite weak, tho. The price is about $30, a real bargain.
Thrillseekers have a sample pack for download - drums and if you sign up a FX one.

The thrillseekers have heaps of sick stuff on that site, there are about 10 sample packs...crazy. What sampler do you use? I have battery and I don't often have to go elsewhere for samples.
I use Battery 2 and it reckon it is the best out there. Loads of outputs, easily adjust important parts like envvelopes, key groups and even a light touch of compression if needed. Simple and effective
My sequencer I use is not liking my copy of Kontakt at all though which is gutting and I may have to use Halion
which is rubbish!
I use halion 1 its fine.. everything you need out of kontat and nothing you don't.
Hmm, I agree with junky.. I've tried both Halion 3 and Kontakt 2 and I'd prefer kontakt over halion anytime, it's not even competition.
@ Cube: Battery3 comes with a huge library of one shot samples, you should take a look at it. It's worth the price for the samples alone (especially if you can buy the student version
)
halion 3 is uselessly complex and retardedly slow to work with it seems... halion 1 does everything i need from it clean simple and fast.
Yeah kontakt is a nice piece of kit, so glad I don't have to deal with hardware samplers, never have, hopefully never will
Whats really nice about the NI stuff is that its all integrated, so you can load akoustic piano or battery stuff into kontakt for more editing if your more familiar with that interface or whatever. I like it anyway, not that I actually use that feature
I like Stylus RMX myself. It has many expansions and can use REX loops as well.
I love it!! Anyone else use it?
I have Battery 2 as well, but Stylus RMX has almost completely made Battery 2 obsolete for me. I do still use Battery for some fill-ins, etc....
