All old people must drive cars that resemble po-po.

I've always noticed it, but driving home from KH this morning at 6:30am... I was AMAZED how many times I had to slow down from catching cars in front of me because they looked JUST LIKE an undercover car... only to roll up to find a 70 year old woman with her chin on the wheel and, barely pushing 110.

I just sit on the left lane on the 401 all the way through.

+1..they are even missing the fucking hubcaps that make them look exactly like the po po cars

LOVE IT! i always get into this problem because people either don't know or don't care about the rule. which is why I pay to drive on 407. nobody stays in the outer lane (including me)and it takes me half the time to get to where i want. God bless the drivers on 407.

all u gotta do is look for the large antennae. that would indicate an undercover

Usually Toronto U/C cars have two small antennae, like the old car phone ones, and a small white disc resembling a dome light. The two antennae are for the radio and computer systems respectively and the white one is the sattelite transciever. Also, all police Crown Vics are the police interceptor model, which is identified by the 'police interceptor' badge under the Crown Victoria logo.

OPP cars are exempt from having ValTags, so they have a black/yellow tag, which looks like the signs on guardrails

Most U/C cars have one or two black boxes on the rear dash that generate the lightshow.

All things that are too late to detect when bombing 140-150 and you catch up to the car. By that time, it's too late, your busted! You need to speed check a good kilometer before approaching these cars.

+1 I fucking hate when people do that. I don't mind as much if there's no one behind you, even if there's a decent distance between the cars on the right hand side. But if someone is behind you...get the F over to the right.

I thought you meant for drivin' sketchy or whatever when you leave the city.

May I suggest NOT doing 150 km/h if you're not prepared to get a ticket? Or, even better - get a radar detector (which are not legal in Ontario), drill a small hole in your dash just above the steering wheel, bypass the LED warning light on the detector and run that bypass to an LED you install in the hole. Place the detector OUT OF SIGHT under the dash, in the trunk with the antenna exposed...etc, and you're gold. You'll know when there is radar and/or laser in use and the cops can't see the unit.

Problem solve, patent pending.

People that piss me off :-

1)Slow driving or just 5 below on the speed limit yet being on the fast lane and dont move even though you flash your high beam.....ahhh$%$#@#!#$$!@

2)Truck drivers who drive as if its a truck race going on with all the three lanes with trucks and huge trailers 53 ft ones going side by side and you just cant do anything.*&^$%#%$#%%^$&


3)Cab Drivers who without giving a signal just turn as if theres noone else on the road.

4)People who drive with there high beams on at all times even on small roads.

The only time i got a ticket for speeding was for not paying attention to the road (and cops).

If you brake and slowdown cops will let you go.

I saw the most hardcore undercover cop car ever pulling some one over it was a green doge ram pick up truck! the cop lights were underneath a black mesh grill in the front not visible at night and the 2 cops inside were dressed in everyday clothes the only thing that made it look suspicious is the large antenna on the roof but a lot of construction works have 2 way radios ...

i once saw a chevy family type minivan undercover

By the time somebody is directly behind you, it's too late. You've already fucked up the traffic flow. That's what pisses me off with the left-lane hogs; they think it's okay because they'll move over when someone starts highbeaming them and/or honking at them. Except that if they're too much of a chicken shit to go faster than 110, there may be cars to the right of them that are going faster than them, and either they won't be able to pass or they'll cut someone off and fuck up traffic in that lane too.

Or worse, sometimes there will be a solid line of cars in the next lane and they can't move at all, and there ends up being a line of cars behind them that all have to wait 5 minutes for the dipshit to move.

That is why I say that these people are assholes who don't know how to drive, period, no matter what excuse they make. They have zero understanding of traffic flow, zero understanding of how quickly road conditions can change, and zero consideration toward other drivers. It's precisely because of these assholes that we have traffic jams. They should all be sent back to driving school to be administered savage beatings until they promise with tears streaming down their faces never to be in the left lane again unless they're either turning left or passing someone.

Amen, sister. Left lane on the 407 has no speed limit! It's the Autobahn of North America! If you ever see me, I'm the red Prelude doing ~180 km/h.

Not ALL the time. This weekend a friend of mine got caught doing 152. He braked and slowed down but he still got a ticket. Mind you the cop was SUPER nice and didn't give us a hard time at all. In fact she docked it down to 120.
