Rock Remixes

I need some good remixes of hard rock songs for a fashion show this weekend. Any suggestions? Something along the lines of Morillo, Romero & Nunez - Dancin (Angello & Ingrosso's Metallica Is Dancin Mix) would be great. Thanks.

The original is way better, and I'm not sure it was even a rock tune to begin with actually, pretty sure it was just an electro-clash tune with that "rock inspired" hybrid-ish bass. I could be wrong though.

If you like rock sounding tunes, try for stuff by "Hard Rock Sofa" lotta good bangers.

foo fighters - everlong (pqm vs vince musgrove rmx)
snow patrol - chasing cars (Luke Terry remix)
coldplay - fix you (Matthew Adams Remix)
Muse - Cydonia (John 00 Fleming vs Wizzy Noise Remake)
Muse - Muscle Museum (Soulwax Remix)
Reeloop - Kamistad (a remix of a neil young tune)
Fusion 808 - Take on Me (yeah it's more "pop" but it's funny and would be recognisable)

I never said the original was a rock tune. I suppose Plec was brought in to do all the guitar work on the remix, which is qutie a piece of work compared to the original. It's a "rock remix" of the original.

definitely. It's been done in such a way that it leaves it sounding like the original yet totally different too. I was dubious when I first saw it listed but it's on my regular listening now, and has been for ages

WTF where are all these remixes coming from

Posted by idoru on Apr-24-2007 06:08:

There's a top-notch remix of U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name, I think it's done by Johnny Vicious. It's the only remix of the tune worth mentioning and in my opinion, the Nu NRG remix can go to hell.

The white stripes - seven nation army (slide white label mix)

sick tune
