This all depends on what kind of CD player you use.

Posted by shaw on Apr-23-2007 14:10:

play audio without any media in/on them.

cdj's will play dvd's, like the Best of Vixens pt.2. You can turn a club into a porn scene in a matter of minutes!

John, I might not be going to Cali this summer because of some personal reasons, one being (I just found out) my grandpa's dying in Puerto Rico and I might have to fly there instead.

If I dont go for sure, we're rippin at Surfside 24/7 this summer. Just thought I'd let ya know

Play with the v-hold.

arent DVJ's like $4000.00 fucking expensive for a dvd player

Posted by Zild on Apr-24-2007 07:11:

Most important part is they play CDs which are an order of magnitude more economical than vinyl.

True, so true,,,, but can you look as good looking as me playing CDs. lol

Has anyone of you been able to mess with those DVJs, those seem really cool.

I will get the next one in a few weeks..... now that I paid off my Jalopy and a nice little raise at work..... My setup will be complete, almost.....

My last gig was on DVJ's. Not much difference except for the response (latency). I would not recommend getting these unless you are planning on becoming Sander Kleinenberg. They offer nothing more in terms of sound quality or effects than the CDJ1000's

u don't have to worry about a needle skipping in certain set ups.

they are lighter.

i can only speak of pioneer 800's and up. i had a 100 a while back. it did the job, but i had to get the 1000's.
