What's with all the n00bs lately?

Dear God they're everywhere! Everybody has their braindead moments and asks a rather dumb question once in a while but geez, does it have to be every five minutes?

Yeah, we all started somewhere but for fuck's sake use your initiative and try to learn a little something first. There are stickies at the top of this forum filled with guides and turorials that answer at least 99% of your questions.

If you can't be bothered reading them, but still insist on asking the same questions every day, then expect to be...
1) flamed at
2) laughed at
3) joked at
4) shouted at
5) ignored

And don't bother to whinge about how bad you've been treated, or reply with your own smartass comments. Coz if you do, you won't get very far in this place.

Well it's a normal part of every forum. It's always happened and will always happen.

Even experienced people sometimes need to ask a noob question. It's only normal and is part of the learning experience.

Obviously, but lately it's just been getting ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder if it's someone being "funny" and creating alts just to take the piss.

Possibly, though I doubt it. I guess it comes in waves (I think I started a rather noobish bassline thread aswell)

some of you comments do be so ridiculous at times it makes me laugh..stop been so smart to people and there questions....everybody has to learn and the only way to learn is by asking these so called noob questions on there mind...

if you dont like them dont answer them simple.same your energy for your decent threads

Some of the trusted veterans should be able to lock noob posts. On gta4.net they are ruthless when it comes to useless threads, I don't think it would do any harm to steer that way a little.

Two other points,

There's some clever dudes on this forum - get creative with useful posts!

The noob posts should be totally ignored. That's not telling them to fuck off, helping them or even steering them towards the stickies. Nothing.
