Simpsons w/ trance?
Newest Simpsons episode... the one where Marge is playing the online video game that is a lot like WOW.
There is a scene when Lisa is watching the DVD documentary about soccer, and the statue of Mary comes to life... the music is a build up of a popular trance song (which escapes me at the moment).
Did anyone else notice this, and does anyone know the name of the song?
Got a youtube link or something?

WOOHOOO!!!
I found confirmation, and figured out the name:

| This is the second episode in which music from "Adagio for Strings" is used. The first was "Strong Arm of the Ma" after Marge, under steroid rage, single-handedly defeated all the men (except Homer) in the bar fight at Moe's Tavern, resulting in their laying all over the place as the end of that scene panned out. |
Barber would shit himself in disgust.

Ok so it isn't solely a trance song, but it was the most recent version I had heard the music in, so I immediately thought of it as such.

Jesus - a popular trance song?!?!

hahaahhaha
poor barbz
Come on, guys, give Theresa a break: William Orbit, Tiesto and half of the world dj'ing population sampled Barber's "Adagio for Strings" in the last decade
*sigh*
Meanwhile, I am willing to bet that a lot of you n00bs didn't even know that it was originally a Classical (let alone actually have HEARD the original), and are just hopping on this "I am so intelligent, and superior" bandwaggon.

c'mon guys, we all know the ORIGINAL song is Tiesto's Theme from Platoon. Samuel Barber just ripped it off after he saw that movie.

| Originally posted by Fledz That's such a lie. Tiesto wrote it after he saw the movie, then went back in time, killed the original composer and made sure he stuck his name on it. Then platoon used it later. Unfortunately, the first time he went back in time he went too far, and accidentaly dropped a piece of paper on the ground with the notes for it. Samuel Barber found it and composed a classical track. Then after the time got warped, we have our present history and no idea of who the actual real composer is |
