Fixing a gamecube ?
My nintendo seems to be on it's last legs but I still want hours of fun from it. Problem is that half the time it won't read the discs & then it'll play fine & suddenly jump into "an error has occured turn the system off.." message. From this I'd say it's probably a laser error but how much chance do I have of being able to get it fixed cheaply against actually buying another gamecube for 25 (about 50 us dollars) part-used from amazon. Any thoughts ?
Try getting a lens cleaner kit and see what happens? Maybe there's dust and shit inside causing that to fuck up.
Or try finding some geeky kid and pay him in sexual favours (if you have a gf, use that to you advantage).
Get a Wii.
