BT is an absolutely brilliant vocalist.
There, I said it. I don't really understand why people bash tracks where he provides them, as he could well be the most technically accomplished vocalist who sings in trance at all. (exaggeration, but kind of true anyway)
I mean, people like that Jan "Sounds-Like-15" Johnston bitch singing.

Even though he might be a brilliant vocalist, generally male vocals fail in trance.
dunno if he's a brilliant vocalist or not, but i do know that his voice doesn't please me in any way at least.

I couldn't really give a flying intercourse about his vocals, because with the exception of Firewater, BT deciding to sing is usually the cue for the track to be one of his poorer efforts.

He is a good vocalist, but I don't think it's fair to compare him to female vocalist since the style is so different.
His method is far more spoken wordy sorta singing than full on sing your heart out kinda stuff.
I think some of his best vocals are in:
Satellite,
Solar Plexus
and
Shame.
Oh my god those are fucking tunes and a half.

I think that while he is not an absolutely brilliant vocalist, he is however a pretty decent one, at least when he goes for the more subtle style, like in "shame".
i think he should stick to the studio work and leave the vocals to others. not that he doesn't have a pretty good voice...he just doesn't sing in a style i really like...
As long as he's not singing for trance, and just for rock, I'm not going to give him too much shit for it.
I'm not a fan of vocals in trance tunes. neither male or female. but still i would much rather hear BTs vocals than any of the hordes of female vocalists which are infecting so many tunes nowadays.

I like BT's singing. I really like all vocal performances of his i've heard, including Break My Fall on the tiesto album. I prefer male voices to female in all types of music.
"Satellite" I can genuinely say is probably his best vocal track he's sung on. But it's not trance or dance even. It's just a good pop-rock song.
If anyone is an absolutely brilliant vocalist it's Liz Fraser.
i actually like bt's vocals a lot

he can be hit or miss
I generally don't like tracks with vocals in them, but I have to admit BT does sing rather well. Better than 99% of pop singers anyways.

There's a lot worse out there, that's for sure. He's pretty good.
Yeah, BT's vocals are nice on "Satellite." That's a good little, melancholy pop song...
