You shattered my heart...
...and in turn i shattered my health.
Reflecting back on past significant relationships, especially the meaningful ones, and especially those that ended poorly (a.k.a. I was not the one to end it) - I've realized one thing. For the next three months I would go on a complete disregard for my health. Not eating, drinking too much, smoking almost a pack of cigs a day, unprotected sex with numerous partners, and extreme drug use. As if putting all those poisons into my body would cure me of my "ailment". This of course led to many complications and I would suffer further... though physically.
Now it worked, fuck did it work! But. Was extremely stupid and immature.
Makes me wonder.
What did you guys do to cure the post-relationship blues?
Minus points for you Denys
i didn't read wtf you wrote, but man, girls are bitches.
The exact same. It's a way of letting time pass as far as I'm concerned. I've smoked like a chimney, drank like a fish and snorted more powder then a fucking hoover when a relationship has ended.
Boozing till the early hours and caining down the charlie won't help things, but the way to look at it is fuck it take things your stride and enjoy yourself.
Shagging
did coke till I passed out, slept with his bestfriend and sister all in one day. JK
I hung out with my girls, kept myself occupied and reminded myself that obviously he wasn't worth me or able to handle a mature relationship.
I win.
Hah. How ironic.
you at least got butsex right?

BEST thing to do is get BUSY. make plans with your buddies...go out to clubs, bars whatever and try meeting new people and talk to lots of other girls. go to the gym, take kickboxing classes, build a little fort in your room, whatever just dont dwell on it. AND RESIST the temptation to call or email or anything. if you need to find a buddy who can keep check on you and make sure you dont cave in then do it. eventually it will fade but how long that takes is entirely up to how much you were invested emotionally into the relationship.
