FYI...your URL to your homepage has two periods in it. Delete one of the periods before the ".com". You have "..com". Just FYI...

Ok, on to the tune...

Nice hard kick in the beginning. Very tight!!! When the pads first come in, I felt the bass was a bit too intense to properly give the emotion I 'think' you were after. The instrumental part in the beginning is really good, but I think the bass kind of ruined it. When the song picks back up, the bass is definitely a bit much - at least on my monitors. Everything else is being dominated by that repetive bass sound. Everything else sounds really well done! Overall, I think this has some definite potential. It definitely kept my attention throughout.

I'm no expert here; I can only give you my opinion based on my limiting mixing skills.... Someone else may come back and disagree with my assessment.

Good luck!!

Adam

don't know the original

listening.....

good percussion in the intro, ok bassline but sounds a bit simple
nice synth @ min 2
cool atmosphere with the pads and melody
a bit muddy when it's all playing together....you can't really hear the bassline that well and you may wan't to reduce the amount of reverb on the pads esspecialy

ok production overall...but a bit too standard for me

thanks for sharing

I never heard Snowave's version but here goes:

Like the percs, not too sure about the bass during the intro. Like the atmosphere in the breakdown but perhaps a bit too long or repetitive. I also think the breakdown ends a bit too suddenly. The whole track doesn't seem to go anywhere either, it just gets a bit repetitive.

Hope this helps, it wasn't really my style but thanks!
Alex
