My taste in music is better than your taste in music.

It is.

Because i say it is.

And the fact that you say it isn't, is even more reason for me to say that it actually is.

OK?

ahhahaahaha.

ahhh dean making funnies!

but seriously, i dont think music is just down to what one is into. there are rules to music and as such SOME (and i mean only some) music can be considered better than other songs in the same genre.

for instance, a singer that sings in tune is better than one that cant

Well if it is done with proper samples and is in time with the song and is done to be unique and works well then maybe it is better

eh? are you seriously arguing someone that cant sing in tune is better than one that can? lol.

is this how it works - like i dunno im just gunna put this out there..

techno percussion is uaually a lot more detailed than trance percussion
tecnho basslines are usually a lot more solid
trance melodies are usually quite simple and lack subtlety...whereas tech melodies are usually (if there) subtle and complex....

does this mean techno is better?
and if so and i know this - why do i still enjoy a GOOD piece of trance (usually prog/psy) over a GOOD piece of techno?

why?

except you lilith. youre a dirty SA cvnt.

I reckon mine is crappier because i've been listening to crap for longer than you therefore it only stands to reason my crap is WAY more crappier than your crap!! My music is the crapperest

P.S I know everything!!

because your ears prefer to hear trance...

genre wars can never be won, you just have to accept that different people like different music, and then move on

except when your taste in music is fucking stupid electro minimal bullshit whatever the fuck you want to call it crap that sounds like someone had too much of their illicit substance of choice and thought it would be a great idea to add a weak kick to some looped samples of the music from fucking frogger or pacman or some other 80's midi noise. then your taste in music is not better than anybody else's by default.
