Most racist country in the World?
my roommate was trying to tell me that he thinks that the USA is the most racist country in the world?
i say no way! The USA has tons of immigration and is very multicultural compared to most countries.
I said the middle east was a much more racist place in terms of accepting foreigners but he said no way!
what do you guys think?

During the Apartheid era in South Africa was the most racist country i have lived in. Not so much anymore, infact exactly the opposite. Hence why im here.

What do you mean by the title t-man? Experience from people watching TV and media are very different from people who actually have travelled and experienced the culture from themselves. The other question is... is the country racist, or it's people?
America is more ignorant than racist. Maybe the southern states are a different story but in my years here , i dont recall a single incident where someone has looked down on me because of the color of my skin (dunno if thats relevant since its not brown 
.)
The UK is probably the most racist country ive been to.
a lot of people don't see it, but out of the first world at least, japan is pretty racist. sure, they "idolize" other cultures, but they sure as hell won't want you to live in their country permanently or let you marry their sister. the citizens there are something like 99.x japanese, the remainder are korean, and even they receive stigma for not being pure.

i've heard australia is pretty bad.
considering the fact that racism comes from the same sort of ideology that does not coincide with human rights, and respect for others and things of the sort, places with little human rights and corruption.

Are we talking presently or historically......it makes a big difference.

I dont think we can single out USA because it is so big and people have very different opinions depending on where you live and the culture than is in that area.
For instance, there is a lot of intergrating in the NE, and I rarely never seen any problems (not to say there are NONE of course)...... but go down south, and the white folks have the black folks heads on sticks just for fun. its serious down there and really scary if you ask me. 
there are racists among all nations.
All nations have institutionalized racism. It takes on different forms, and plays out in different ways. Racism in apartheid SA is different from xenophobic British ways which is different from European nations trying to protect their ethnicity.
in asia it's called rice-ism.
