Man this sounds so unprofessional and basic. Quite dissapointed that he could make something so noobish.

Has this guy actually ever done any original work?

Yes.

Richard Durand - Slipping Away (1995 Non Vocal Mix). Pretty original and good uplifting trance track.

A lot of his solo productions are good; his remixes are sometimes dissapointing or getting ridiculous, just like this one.

He's not as ridiculous as Sean Tyas by far though.

Sunhump is also a remake. of Viridian - Sunhump

I don't agree. It was quite a good commercial track. I love it, but this remix is horrible.

ok. i couldn't stand the vocals, the girl in the video... LOL THE STUPID VIDEO. LOL

Posted by SMC on Apr-29-2007 14:57:

I always loved Tocas Miracle and the instrumental original Toca Me, classic. This remix sounds quite pointless.

Posted by trancedanne on Apr-29-2007 15:08:

boring remix but the original sucked anyway... fragma never did anything good

Posted by smakmagik on Apr-29-2007 15:32:

Arrow ..

just found out
Fragma is Duderstadt

Posted by chrisday on Apr-29-2007 15:48:

This has gotta be a wind up!?..
Didn't the video have a female playing 5 aside footy!?!?

Posted by HaeD on Apr-29-2007 15:55:

I hoped that wasnt OMG great tune thread cuz i hate durand

Posted by chrisday on Apr-29-2007 16:01:

I don't hate him. Slipping away was a good tune. And his remix of Lethal industry was acceptable. Althought I don't see why people remix classic tunes, they know it will become big amongst the mainstream audience, but do it justice and leave it the fuk alone!
Can anyone think of a better remix than the classic!?

Remixing an average tune and making it better is more acceptable. NuNrg for instance on Second sun - Playground.

Heh. First thing I thought when I saw this was:

Durand: Tyas 2.0
