ID Contest 50

It's once again time for an ID contest. We're up to number 50 (!!!), so for this occasion I've thrown together a selection of mostly classics from every genre. It shouldn't be too hard.

The rules:

75 tracks, points rewarded as follows:

Take for instance the track Audion - Mouth to mouth (Mantap mix by Heartthrob):

Audion - ?? -> 1 point
?? - Mouth to mouth (Mantap mix by Heartthrob) -> 2 points
Audion - Ass to mouth (Mantap mix by Heartthrob) -> 2 points
Audion - Mouth to mouth (Mantap mix by Heartthrob) -> 3 points!

In other words, each part of the title (artist/title/mix) is worth 1 point. Additional tags such as Original Mix, Dub/Vocal Mix or Radio Edit do not need to be mentioned unless the radio edit/club mix/whatever is significantly different to the original.

PM me your answers, you've got until May 14th, 11:59 GMT to do it.

GWAN!

I was going to say that I didn't recognize a single track... but lucked out on knowing the very last one.

Of course my lack of IDs doesn't actually constitute evidence in such things. We'll have to wait till we hear from The Chris for official confirmation on this round's difficulty.

Hint: Pay attention to the vocal samples that appear in a lot of the tracks.

ID contests run by Scandinavians are always impossible.

An American needs to win so I can ID lots of cheese and feel good about myself.

i've never managed to get more than 2 or 3 points, but because it's been a long time since i participated in a contest i'll give it a go.

Hah, you should've taken part in my contests.

We should convince Dubya that Scandinavia have WMDs, let's see them host ID Contests under occupation.

Lol, don't you have a Finnish flag? And actually I think I did participate in your last one, cause it was the only one I've ever done decent in.

General misconception, Finland is not, i repeat NOT in Scandinavia.
Although there's a term "Fennoscandia", but that's just crap.

Just like Canada is not a US state. (ORLY?)

I didn't find your score for the contest. I'll check my old thread again.

Oh, I just thought everything above Belgium was Scandinavia.

/American geographic knowledge

jk

I studied abroad in Copenhagen, and they also said Finland isn't part of Scandinavia, so I should have known better!

I may have been wrong, I can't remember who ran the contest I did alright in. It may have been Tribu's... did he run one?

Yup, tribu won my contest and you got 5th place with 109% of average score in that one.

Posted by Subtle on May-03-2007 09:24:

Shit, couldnt make one positive ID, only track 15 is a track ive heard before.

Posted by distant on May-03-2007 14:46:

First scoreboard:

montana 32
Psy-T 19
Camwin 12
Lebezniatnikov 11
Philby 6

No uniques yet, due to the low number of contestants so far. The most IDed track comes as no surpise: #31.

Have to say, I hardly know any of these tracks but one of my faves so far is 32, sounds fucking great, never heard it before, cant wait for the answers to be revealed some really good gems in there, but most of this Contest I've never heard before! :-(

Posted by Cobalt on May-06-2007 09:21:
