dented tweeter... best way to pop it out?

So I purchased a set of monitors on ebay and one of the monitors have a tweeter that was dented (pushed in)

what would you guys recommended to pop it back out?

Something sticky like a bit of tape could fix your problem. But: BE GENTLE!

yeah, I also heard you can use stick tape. Stick it in the "dent" and pull it out gently. If you cant do it, bring it to a good, high-end stereo shop (not a Futureshop....a real audio store)...they can do it in like 2 mins.

You bunch of fools. Sticky tape, are you nuts???

open the whole speaker, and push the tweeter cone from behind IF YOU HAVE ACCESS

Since it looks like a metal cone, you'll fuck it up if you use tape

What kind of speaker is it anyway?

Go see a place where they sell high-end stuff as Soundwerks said.

Tweeters are nearly always (if not always) closed. In fact just about all speaker cones are these days. So short of dismantling the actual speaker cone... (which is not recommended, it must be said)
