Starting House
I've become increasing interested in good house music, not the top 40 crap I always hear at clubs. I've in the past been pretty much sololy into trance, but now I'd like to expand. Who are some good house DJ's (some groovy, tech, and minimal would be great!)?
A lot of threads already like this, but no biggie.
My suggestions:
Daft Punk
Eric Prydz
Cassius
Pete Heller
Paolo Mojo
Desyn Masiello
As always these lists are very opinionated, we can offer suggestions, but you'll need to listen to DJ's/Artists yourself to really find who you do and do not like.
Good luck.
Also make sure to check out the music discussion forum with these types of questions, as to not clutter up the forums and also you'll get more replies to your question there.
tech= james zabiela
minimal=nic fanciulli
tech and minimal=one+one (nic and james)

House is too broad of a genre.
What DJ/producers do you like in particular? We can give suggestions based off of that
I'll give you some of my Fav. producers at the moment, for the most part all their work is top quality (IMO) and their styles range from Minimal-tech-house to the more popular electro-house
John Dahlback
Sebastien Leger
Laidback Luke
Mark Knight
Rene Amesz
Dave Spoon
And there are tons more along the same lines as these guys.
