Dude, The Champions League pretty much determines wich team is the best in Europe. Liverpool are in the final so your statement kind of lacks in logic.

No that was in the time only the champions of the leages could play EC1. Now its really sad in my eyes that in certain leages the first number 3's can play Champions leage and the champion of Scotland or other countries must play qualifying round first. Money ruined a lot. Also the 3 foreign player rule destroyed a lot in the football. I hope they will change it back in the future.

Ofcourse it takes skill, and it would be great if they can win it again but in my opinion the magic of a true "champions leage" is far gone. Anyway I still like it a lot though.

I dont care if ur 20th in the domestic league. If u can win the Champions league.You're the best in europe.Simple as that.

Same situation with Greece in 2004. They won euro 2004. Its hard to swallow, but they were the best team during that tournament and they deserve credit where credits due.

well heres some more logic to ponder about :

1) If United are the best english team, how can liverpool be the best club in europe when they are an english team?

and to build on that

2) How are liverpool in the champions leauge when they arnt even champions?

I agree with this.

I think it's totally unfair that teams in spain, italy and england can settle for third spot but still be able to gain entry to the big money competition in europe.

Again it all comes down to money with football these days, not fair and just competition. No-one wants to watch the hungarian champions take on the champions of serbia in the champions league so they make it as hard as possible for teams of these countries to gain access to it and possibly secure themselves decent money that will see them survive another year.
