Why I hate hardstyle

http://www.myspace.com/djastro01

I know this dude personally, he calls me soft for liking trance and hating hardstyle :P but look at the myspace video on his page and that sums up why I hate it...fucken noise!

I don't know how people can enjoy that music, unless they are in a certain state of mind

Just beyond me.. my opinion ofcourse.

Also if you don't like fast changing colors don't visit the myspace link above

its great when your in the mood! some hardstyle tunes do more for me than trance ever will! but its only when your out in a club, i couldn't listen to it in the car stereo!

Posted by Jeremy H on May-02-2007 09:51:

I personally can't stand hardstyle and such at all.. But to argue about personal taste is just stupid.
(this was btw not aimed at anyone in particular)

i have to admit that this boy doesn't really have a clue what he's at and its not the best advertisement for hardstyle!

But there is some decent hardstyle out there and as a lover of all music i am open to anything!

Posted by AndreaCKY772 on May-02-2007 13:20:

i have tolerance for SOME but high pitched vocal shit can grate on my nerves. i cannot listen to 3 consecutive tracks i don't think but if i come across one i actually like, then that's what it is. i don't think i'd go to a hard show because of the people that would attend.

Posted by Yohan on May-02-2007 14:44:

I listen to hardstyle at a club max 30mins per year.

Or else I'd have to go start killing people with a rusty spoon

Keep an open mind, please....obv, you know shit about the subject.

There are 3 types of ravers/clubbers....the "ravers" that just hit the edm events as an excuse to take pills and other shit.

Then we have the music ONLY guys/"zombie-on-the-dancefloor" who simply go out to listen to the music....dancing is strictly forbidden and you are to stare at the Dj at all time.

Then we have people who actually DANCE to music, not waving with one arm or nodding with your head a little.

I listen to hardstyle alot, and I shuffle to it, that's what makes this style so much fun. There's so much energy and devotion o the dancing, and not only the music itself on many hs floors that you'll never find on a regular trance event.

Not exactly HS, but it works just as fine....

Calling it superficial is just stupid.

You're an asshole,

nothing more but full of shit.

Thank you and have a nice day/

i think its kind of cute that you go straight to insulting me after all i did was give my simple opinion. How old are you again? SAnyway, i couldn't give two shits to what you dont and do listen to. Obviously YOU, my friend is the one that has no clue, stating that a hs club has more energy than any other club in the world is just plain ignorant sinse i doubt that you've ever hit all the clubs in the world. But then again I am only 15, im sure you've hit more clubs than me and i cant doubt to extremes but acting your shoe size and not your age will deffinately not deffend the music you love so much. mmmk?

Reonu:
It's apparent you've never taken in much jungle. You therefore know jack-shit about what is the most energetic music to dance to. Hardstyle's only good for stoopid march-a-long fun.

Posted by SuspicionVandit on May-02-2007 16:25:

hardstyle kills your face.
that song sucks and he was playing it off a cassette.
no bias allowed here
provide better example

Posted by Trancefxs on May-02-2007 18:14:

I liked the way Yoji Biomehanika was able to mix togheter tracks of hardtrance, hardstyle and hardhouse in his sets (I talk with the past since is a bit I don't hear something from him), however hardstyle only does for me if I am in the mood for a crazy night, I prefer hardtrance.

Posted by spc on May-02-2007 18:20:

his myspace page is about 2 steps away from giving me a seizure

First of all, I ain't your friend.
Secondly, I was also giving my oppinion. After what you wrote, I found you to be an asshole.

Okay, so what I meant was I have never experienced ANYTHING like the feeling you get at hs events, not even close at all.

I mean, sure TE and Sensation are experiences because of the fact that thousands of people attend to them, still....look at the crowd, how many are dancing or even smiling? ZOMBIE NATION goes live

And my age has nothing to do with my oppinion, so I don't feel its necessary to answer that question.

It's apparent I know jack-shit, yes, you're absolutely right....

What you define as "energetic" is impossible for me to know, and I frankly don't care....how DO you dance to jungle...please show me

It's easy to talk shit about something you don't even understand
