Great weather..
Its been really bright and sunny out pretty much every day down here for the past month or 2, I mean just perfectly beautiful out...and when I was on my way to work this morning, I realized how cheerful and happy Ive been for a while now. I wonder if its because of the weather.
Do you guys get affected by weather? Im pretty sensitive to my surroundings and rainy days n stuff and all of a sudden Im convinced that my mood will change if it starts raining and I dont want that to happen. lol
Yeah, I'm in a shitty mood from November until late April because the weather around here usually blows during that time.
i can agree with that.
even in england its been sunny and hardly a spec of rain, its marvellous!
however, sitting in the sun drinking beer keeps u relatively sober. :/
this past winter was actually the first winter that i didn't get kind of depressed or angry about it being winter. i mean, it sucked... but i was still having a lot of fun, so it didn't really affect me.
i definitely love the spring and summertime more though. it's been really nice here for the last couple of weeks as well. gorgeous, warmer-than-normal weekends, and this whole week is supposed to be sunny with highs in the 60s.

It's been up in the 80's for the past week here. Way too hot in my opinion. I'll take 60's every day of the week for the rest of my life thank you very much.
Global warming ftl.
People are generally happier when it's sunny and warm. You can do so much more and the effects are obvious. I love summer
I definitely get affected by the weather - and I can't wait to get the fuck out of Wisco because of it.
This morning was so nice that I got up early and went for a 4 mile run, and now I'm home and have plenty of time to chill, have a cup of coffee and a shower before I've got to get out and get back to work on some papers.
I pretty much love any day that's nice enough for me to want to get out of bed early
global warming. lol...
but yeah drearyness sucks, thats why i moved back to boulder. michigan was shit...much better now even on the graveyard shift|

| Originally posted by Lebezniatnikov Absolutely! Anything above 75 is just sweat inducing, and that's just no fun. Actually, it's the humidity that usually comes with 75 that's the worst... no, I love Minnesota Septembers... no humidity, day-time temps in the 60s and night-time lows of around 50. Light jacket and jeans = awesome weather. |

Yea its been a little too hot for my liking too, but at least its nice and sunny. On Sunday I went to my girlfriends place and we laid out by the pool and literally after 20 minutes, we were like, lets go watch a movie lol we were DYING outside.
Oh and I dont really mind rain either, but it just puts me in a different mood. If its gonna rain though, I prefer that it POUR and there be lightning and thunder. Its sexy.
Its like 80 today with some clouds and a breeze. So nice!
Even though I don't think it is widely accepted, it seems like many people suffer from SAD (not the opposite of happy) but Seasonal Affective Disorder i.e. 'Winter Depression.'
SAD is predominantly based on the amount of solar light we receive which varies from season to season due to changes in solar elevation and from day to day due to changes in cloud cover. The shorter days of winter, with their corresponding lack of light, are believed to be the major causes of SAD. When the sun is less than 30 degrees above the horizon and the sky is overcast with low and/or middle clouds, the amount of solar light decreases considerably, producing a dark day.

lol cool
no but seriously...making love with a really loud thunder storm going on outside and the rain drops hitting the windows is hot. having lived in south florida for practically my whole life, i can say i've done that many times. it's like, "oh damn honey it's raining, let's go have sex all day".

well here in vegas is it sunny and hot 90% of the year. You get sick of that bright ass sun and the hot temps after a while.
But then you go back east to like say...michigan in the winter, and you love the warm temps
its been at a steady 90+ degs the last week er two.
