[Progressive / Balearic] S-Tune - Sand in your Shoes
Hey,
havent been around here for a while - was very busy with university, etc...
Here is a 4:45 min sample of a new progressive track... im very interested about your comments!
You can listen to it @ Myspace (ID Preview 2)
Have fun and thanks in advance,
cheers
S-Tune
I'm LOVING the pads and strings. Bass drum sounds pretty good, not too thump-y, not too wimpy, which fits this well I think. I also like the tempo, stuff like this sounds good in the 120-128 range. I think the drums could be *slightly* louder, but just slightly. Seems like at the 4:00 mark the pads overwhelm the drums just a bit, but you can probably fix that in mixdown.
I really like this track, can't wait to hear the full version.
Thank you very much for your comment and tip!
Well, i tried to find a good balance between the drums and the other stuff like pads/guitars - but it wasnt easy for me...
Cheers,
S-Tune
hey buddy, check your pm

This track is awesome dude.
Great melodies, I'd like to have the full or maybe try to release it somewhere.
There are too many breakdowns in this track.
Once I think that the track is going to the main theme it breaks apart again.
It might work for this kind of track.
The kick is really not upfront in the main part.
These melodies are great.
What are you using?
Are you searching for collabs/remixes?
Omer
@Kopi+Gladius: Thanks for your comment - ive always known that kopi produces for the "horizontal genre"...
@Bassaka: Thanks for your nice quote
@The Drow: Good point with the kick! Will definitely change the volume a bit...
Well, i use Logic 5.5 and im always looking for remixes... so we can do this over PM?
Have a nice week,
cheers,
S-Tune
This is the sort of track I'm looking to take with me to Ibiza this year. Let me know if you want me to push it for you?
Beautiful, I always enjoy your productions man.

Wow! I'm really enjoying night flight good stuff man
this is a very nice track you have done!
Thanks!
Well, Nightflight was released one year ago, my first release...
Does someone know a label for this kind of chilled, balearic trance besides "Sand in the Toes"?
Cheers,
S-Tune
Ahh...I heard this on your myspace and was wondering what track it was. I loved it the moment I heard it. I hope you can make into a nice song with a nice prog intro instead of the typical 32 bar intro. I say that because I feel the song sounds like it has great potential so far.
Signed to Deep Blue Rec.
Well, really cool news:
The track will be released at Deep Blue Rec.!
Thank you all for your feedback!
@shaminii:
Thank you for your comment, song is finished - the intro has no beat for a while, maybe a little bit difficult for a DJ but i liked it this way !
Cheers,

I listened to the myspace version...the direct link doesn't work
great sample, I loved it. that's a top level tune there.
dude, just send it to the right people...I'd love to have it on a vinyl with some sort of uplifting mix on the b-side.
good luck!
