Finals

So I'm one final away from being done with college, and I've realized how little I care anymore. I just got done with an evening final in my political thought class, and to the short answer question, "what was the populist platform and how did it relate to capitalist practices in the 19th Century?" I spent four paragraphs explaining why, if they were alive and kicking as a party today, the populists would hate the New York Yankees and cheer for the Minnesota Twins (small localized markets over the accumulation of capital and purchasing power of conglomerates). And when asked to explain the Puritan doctrine of "city on the hill" I definitely just talked about Bush's doctrine of American exceptionalism. Lol, and I was the first one done.

Here's hoping the prof has a sense of humor... I displayed knowledge of the topics, just dicked around with their application.

Anyone else in the middle of finals? Any funny stories/stress reducers/horror stories?

It flies by, really it does. I remember my first year I was in the same mind frame as you but I was wrong. I guess it depends on what you're doing. All I did was have a blast with my program.

well i should also say that there's no way i'm going to finish a bachelor's in 4 years...it's prob going to take me 5-6 since i'm working on the side too. blahhhhh i'm going to be one happy lady when i'm done!

THAT'S SO BAD ASS.

I was looking into schools in California and when I was taking to the presidents of the schools they told me that the CES gave me exemptions to a lot of classes. So 4 year programs would be like 2 depending on what I would do.
