Virgin Music Festival 2007
Check out this lineup, pretty awesome.

me rikey
still more to be announced for the Toronto line up though!
DJ stage should be bigger and better this year as well. Last year it was only decided to add it 2 weeks prior to the event. this week they've plenty of time. I've already been given the heads up on a few names... however, since I may be involved again this year, I've got to keep my mouth shut for the time being
this event i dont like. this is some typical northamerican event where they stuff as many artists together to get way to many people who dont even care about all the music playing there.
its some cheap attempt by virgin to get thier name associated with music and what is popular with young people.
this doesnt seem like a dance festival too djs play EDM for dancing not some "listening" festival.
i dunno the whole idea of the event is odd seems too commercial for dance music, yet i dont know how thats possible for here in north america where is not popular like in europe.

Toronto one is on Centre Island Sep 08 2007 - Sep 09 2007.

had a blast at last years V-Fest!!!! totally looking forward to seein the Pumpkins, Metric and Tokyo Police Club. maybe even Bjork if i decide to dish out the cash for the first day.
Will probably make this year's Virgin Festival one of my bday jams.
I would probably go see The Police, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Besstie Boys, 311, Incubus, and the Wu Tang Clan before I saw any of the EDM acts on that bill. In terms of rock bands, this festival is incredible. Festivals are where it's at to see rock bands.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm......
the lineup this year far exceeds the one last year.
i'd say i'd be interested in 90% of the acts that are performing, whereas last year it was maybe 40%.
i'd go, except i'm going to be at bestival in england that weekend!
WTF.... The Smashing Pumpkins? Where the hell have I been... since when are they back together?
I'll definately be there, especially since I missed out last year's event when I busted up my ankle real bad. No Strokes like last year but definately alot of great bands worth checkin out.
That looks intense!
Smashing Pumpkins are one of the only bands who I still really need to see, never got the chance before.
