(EDIT: Hey dude, I just noticed it's your first track, you can take a whole lot of sting out of the below comments and also give yourself a pat on the back for starting out and having the balls to share it with us, keep up the good work. And as I said, take the below with a pinch of salt in terms of it's harshness, but I still stand by the overall comments in terms of areas I have hilighted).

Close to 10 mins is way to long for that track.

The drum samples are very retro which at first I didn't get on with but it actually works well for the track. Alhtough overall the percussion is incredibly weak and unimaginative.

Way to little happens in the track to justify the length and I found myself skipping to see when it would change.

In terms of overall mix down the sound is clear and crisp, but then you don't have much in the track so it's not such a challenge.

The breakdown when it arrives is weak and doesn't convey any emotion to me. It also sounds as if some of the notes are played out of time (Might just be my ears) more than just to give the effect of humanizing. They are actually off.

I don't usually comment on artistic content but I have to say that this track for me is too long and feels unfinished.

Around 7:34 the transition is extremely poor.

You can still tell that there is a musical mind at work but sadly this track doesn't do very much for me even if it's technically not bad in any way in particular. It just sounds very amateurish whatever genre you label it with.

Sorry I hope I haven't hurt your feelings, just calling what I see.

Cheers
Nem

Nemesis44, Thanks for the feedback! I agree with alot of what you said and don't worry I know that if I put my track out I gotta be prepared for any remarks. Anyways, I'm planning on revising it again soon and have taken some of your comments into consideration. Especially the length part! Also really want to redo the percussion as well but its really difficult. Well, thanks again for the feedback!
