Thumbs down

i was really disapointed by this . Maybe play was just too good.Play i could just stick in and listen to all the tracks.. This i find myself skipping over many tracks. On this alubm tracks like..
At Least We Tried,The Great Escape are just almost painful to listen to. Play had a sightly larger range of tunes. most of these ones sound so close to each other. Though a few songs are nice.. Look Back In and In This World..
wonder if he will end up doing another ton of singles with remixs.. last time got some nice remixs..

Moby releases a new album .. every marketer/advertiser in the world is probably wetting their pants right about now

Play was a brilliant album, but sorry .. Moby is a total sellout.
Probably won't download this.

moby - We Are All Made Of Stars (DJ Tiesto Non Vocal Remix).mp3 - love this song at the mo, so i imagin his album will b good

I been a big moby fan from a while back (I even know of other albums than play...heheh) but I agree some of the songs on this album are a "miss"... and I think the commercialized moby just pumped them out there. I.E. Sunday (the day before my birthday) is a great song but also a song he has been working on for years... while a bunch of the others looks like something spun out over a long night...I still love it but am a little disappointed

Smile

PPL think moby is a sellout......i think he is brillant....sold loads and then licensed it to commercials and ppl heard his stuff and then bought more albums....certainly did not hurt his bank balance. Check out the new video....so many stars.....hehehehe.....moby is a genius, sellout or not.

I agree, who wouldn't license their album to so many companies...it gains you sooo much exposure. He also now has the record for most licensed album...true, might make him the biggest sellout but he's a rich guy now. IMO, he makes some pretty good music with great sequences and melodies. It isn't exactly trance but more electronica, I don't enjoy it too much but I still think he's talented. He's also released a bunch of albums in the past, and he didn't sellout on those.

CRIPES! sellout? youre right tta. due to personal convictions and the fact i was obsessed with moby pre-TA i have to say hes a talented, artistic motherfocker, no matter how eccentric. calling him a sellout cause he made prolly the best album of 99 and no one caught on til 2001, and THEN bought his music. youre saying that if you made music for a living(and prolly not much) and peeps wanted your music, you wouldnt let them use it? thats just rediculous...unless it was Roseanne Barr-she could never use my music/
