Spiderman 3 pwns your face

it does. I saw it tonight, and oooooooo boy, best comic book movie, ever. The cameos by Cambell and Stan Lee were priceless. The way the plot comes full circle, great! The special effects, awesome! The execution of showing the main characters inner struggles, couldn't have turned out better. The OST, as well as the choice selection for other scenes (disco emo), . By far the greatest superhero movie ever made, and not because the superhero is forced to fight 999999999999 supervillains at the same time while balancing water on his head, with a time limit of 8 minutes before all of mankind is wiped out. Raimi is, meh, for his other projects, but Spiderman is his gem, and his decision to constistently focus on the private life (human element) of peter parker is genius. fuck superman picking up a continent and throwing it into space.
And if you are looking for a new bassline for your hard house production, just rip the sound of the machine that makes Sandman.

franco is so dreamy when he smiles. if he had a vagina along with his cock, i'd fuck him

I am trying not to watch the trailers cause I really want to see what the Brock Venom looks like on the big screen.
Love Venom.....

Its one of the worst movies I've ever seen.....watching dead animals decompose on the side of the highway is more interesting then this cheese filled garbage....Tiesto isn't even as cheesy as this movie is.

Agreed, looks good. Been stoked for this since I knew about it. Finally a comic to movie that hasn't been fucked up yet, all thanks to sticking with the same director.

I totally agree. It was horrendous. Easily the worst Spiderman movie and quite possibly the worst movie of this decade.

Yeah but do you guys follow comics? I'm not inclined to trust someone's opinion of a comic->movie if they don't even read the comic.

+1 though i hear the dude from "that 70's show" is playing eddie brock. tragic.

I thought the first 2 were really enjoyable so I might as well see this one too, it looks good. But I think the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean looks better.

Oh my God, P3, I cannot wait! I wanted to shoot the projector after how the 2nd one ended

But I hated the 2nd one, I've never found Spiderman that enjoyable, but I will go see this.

P3+HP are my anticipations though for this year.

No, you don't understand, i was ready to leave in the middle of it but i went with friends and didnt want to make them miss it. The acting was HORRIBLE, Venom is that 70s show guy (worst casting job EVER) and only has maybe about 15 minutes of actual on screen time as Venom, the sandman looked like Steve from Blues Clues with the fucking shirt he was wearing (i'm still trying to help him find the 3rd clue), they turned Spiderman emo and it made me wanna put a bullet through my head, it was just god awful.

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-04-2007 13:39:

So you don't follow the comic then?

I guess I'll have to watch it for myself, I was gonna anyways.

No, but i still know that Venom shouldnt even be in Spiderman till like Spiderman 8, and Eddie Brock is a huge jacked mother ****** and not some skinny little shit from the 70s who cries everytime he gets into a fight with Donna. I'm glad i dont read the comic cuz i'd probably be even more let down.

Posted by AndreaCKY772 on May-04-2007 13:50:

not my type of movie but i know i'm gonna ed up seeing it secondhand style. at least that hot guy is in the movie.

Posted by StanVoid on May-04-2007 13:53:

After seeing the cheesefest that was Spiderman 1, I vowed not to go see anymore spiderman movies.

LOL, you don't know shit.

A bunch of friends who are definitely comic geeks also mentioned this movie was utterly horrid. Bad acting, bad script, bad everything.

A fair amount of critics are seeming to agree.

I still haven't seen the second one, first one was ok.

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-04-2007 13:55:

Meh, still don't care. Gonna see for myself.

Posted by Xavier on May-04-2007 13:59:

a very pansy-like ending

Posted by Scottaculous on May-04-2007 14:06:

I've read the comic books and this review, and I'm still going to see it.

BTW, I have the issues with the first appearance of Black Spiderman, Venom, and Carnage.

yup yup yup
saw spiderman 1 in theaters, got bored to the point where i almost walked out
i don't see how people can think these movies are that good...the acting's terrible, the script is decent, but only because its based on something faaaaaar better

ha in spiderman 1 when...fuck whatshisname, willam dafoe's character's on some roof talking to spiderman
he had a really long dramatic pause, and someone in the theater somehow yelled out a scarily accurate impression of vader: luuuuuke, i am your faaather

aw man the whole theater was cracking up

Posted by StanVoid on May-04-2007 14:38:

i just talked to some coworkers who saw this yesterday at midnight ...

apparently, spiderman cries on 3 separate occasions in this one

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-04-2007 14:45:

See this is what I mean about people who don't read the comics. Because since when was Peter Parker/Spiderman's character ever NOT a wuss??

Here's an interview with Raimi from Wizard that might give some people a better understanding:
