Any good places to watch the Mayweather / De La Hoya fight?
The only place I've found so far that is definitely showing it is Finnegan's River Barge or whatever. Anyone know of a sports bar or something that has a decent size screen and reasonable drink prices? I'm sure they will be charging a cover, but I'd rather spend money on cover + drinks than pay-per-view.
Quarterdeck in South Beach is a great sports bar and has lots of screens, as well as somewhat decent drink prices, as well as killer buffalo wings and the BEST nachos around.

I'd say the Ale House but I dunno if they're doing it (I'm pretty sure since it's a big sports bar)
they have $5 pitchers & a lot of good drink specials.
I'm gonna try there as well but if they are showing it, it might be hella packed :/
Thanks for the tip, but they said they are not showing it. I guess it must cost a shitload to show the PPV in a commercial setting. The Hard Rock in Hollywood is showing it at The Park Sport Club, some huge bar with a ton of TVs and an 18 foot wide HD projector. The cover is $20 and I'm sure drink prices are right up there with Space but it should be a good time.

Cheetah's-Hallandale Beach
$10 cover, women get in for free
Drinks will be the usual, not as much as other places and with the air and sea show in town, hard rock is gonna be nothing but crazy drunk sailors
ALE HOUSE is doing it! I know it for sure because i went there last thursday and i saw flyers
and its FREE + cheap beer and + cheep food
The Ale House confirmed it is free entry, but do they have any decent TVs to watch the fight on?
