Harder Darker Trance?
Im looking for some new tracks that are similar to Dogzilla - Your Eyes (Skin Damage Remix). Kinda hard dark deep monotone stuff.
Anyone got any artists or tracks they'd like to recommend?
anyone???
Infected Mushroom?
No not psy trance, deep techy hard trance. :P
Why do people still think of Infected Mushroom as psytrance anyhow? Much less "hard"...
I highly recommend you try out some Ghreg On Earth, but it might be a bit much for ya

Anne Clark - Our Darkness (Total Eclipse Remix)

| Personally, i appreciate Total Eclipse very much, including various remixes. This remix is one i appreciate. The melody of the original song is kept intact, while a few vocal samples are used to develop a quite nice goa trance song. Although i dislike vocals in electronic music (often meaningless or otherwise boring IMO) the vocals in this track are minimal hence not disturbing |

| That hypnotic melody and Anne's lyrical genius is one of those things that has worked for years now. When it came for the remixes in 1997, both camps went in different ways. Hardfloor went for their trademark acidic rerub while playing with the vocals and adding effects to it to enrichen the sound. Ramon & Oliver used their usual snareroll with a repeating vocalline in the breakdown to climax in a spectacular matter. Total Eclipse however kept it psychadelic and went for a dark and fast interpretation with a minimal vocal in favour for using the melody as the main drive while using the bassline to push it near the edge. |
