whenever i see popular artists using technology that is typically associated with EDM it makes me wonder what some producers would be capable of coming up with if we weren't so busy with creating music that is very genre specific...

hands, the natural metronome.

I've never been an avid listener to Imogen Heap. I heard Airbase remix of The Moment I Said It (pwns) a while ago, and I heard Hide n Seek on the Saturday Night Live skit, now this. I think i should take a deeper listen....

her voice

i just noticed this from Coachella w/ tiesto

is it really his remix or mislabeled?

Fantastic voice, fantastic style and that one is a really nice performance. I've been a fan since i first heard Frou Frou - Let Go in the movie Garden State.

Beautiful, simply amazing that the song as a whole has so many elements yet its all mainly her voice. Thats real talent.

that was freakin awesome.

One of the very few singers who have this 'special' thing I can't describe. Her voice and singing skills are great. My favorite songs from her are 'Speeding Cars', 'Headlock' and 'Goodnight and Go'.

Yea, its amazing how she incorporates both the natural and artificial elements simultaneously. The amount of unique patterns and effects you could make with that technology is incredible, if only people knew how to use it effectively.

I'd like to see some other performances if you can find them.

Found another.

Imogen Heap - The Moment I Said It (Airbase Mix)

^ absolutely amazing, quite possibly one of the best tracks I've heard in the last 2 years or so.

Awesome. Very talented, indeed.

I definitely sweat 'Goodnight and Go' and 'The Walk' the most.

Posted by RJT on May-06-2007 16:45:

That was really fantastic - I've never been a huge Imogen Heap fan (I got so tired of "Hide & Seek), but I was absolutely blown away by that video.

The track is called Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek (Randy Boyer & Eric Tadla mix aka Enmass).

+1, I really liked that one as well, def. my fave remix of that track. I first heard of her when my friend passed along a copy of her first album a few years back. Then after the Frou Frou album she began to really blow up, but in all honesty, her I Megaphone album is still her best work.

My favorite Immi tracks are "The Walk", "Getting Scared", and "Whatever".

Yeah, Imogen is great! I've seen her live twice and it just blew me away! the second showing was in denver, and she had some guests and this guy beatboxing to her songs. Its amazing what she can do with just her voice and technology.

Check out my vids of her from her denver show:

i wish she take bjork place

I really dug her first album, but the newest one did nothing for me....huge fan though, just can't really listen to her new album, made her voice more rocky, kinda metric-esque....and when I want to listen to that, I'll just listen to Metric
