AVB @ Giant...worth VIP or not??

Hey guys...just wanted to get some input on if it's worth getting the VIP for Armin this year...for Monster Massive it wasnt worth it to me, but since this is 8 hours of ARMIN...I'm debating and willing to go all out. Whatcha all think?

Ha! Who lied? You can't drink past 2am.

Back on topic... I got VIP for Giant NYE, and to me it was worth it cuz I got me and my friencd shitfaced. But, lines for drinks and bathrooms are HUGE! That was the only downside. Another thing I didn't like was how the VIP was in the back of the tent, away from everything. That sucked.

Back to the subject....ya I think the VIP is a bunch of bull and the tent/area is away from the main stage...they just have it set usually like a little rest area. So if anyone hears otherwise...let me know....maybe Rukes will help me out with getting backstage AAAAAAAAHAHAHHHAAAA

Depends on if, or how much, you drink. At Giant NYE, I remember that even bottled water was pricey, so a few drinks and a couple of waters and you're break-even. Anything more than that, you may actually pay less, plus get whatever other VIP benefits there are (but every time I see "plus other special VIP perks," there never are any...) If the restroom lines are shorter, then you're on the dance floor more instead of looking at a porta-potty while your favorite song comes on, though no guarantees on that!

WELL SAID GUYS....Rob (Skizzell) wrote me this regarding the VIP tickets description of the word "Adjacent":

yeah, it sounds like adjacent in this case is close/connected to the stage, not way in the back like you are thinking.

for an 8 hour set, i surely don't want to be crammed in with 5,000 sweaty people *all* night. i'd love a place to sit every now and then. a few drinks at the open bar, plus a few $5 waters makes the $35 easily worth it. people will be paying $70 for general admission as the date gets closer, so this is a no-brainer for me. ;]

you have to remember, this is the same dude who demanded $100 tickets last june when he was at tentation. $70 is nothing at this point. this is a first of it's kind in america for armin. a measly $35 extra for a true fan is nothing. ;]

VIP IS IT!
