All unmixed tracks from hernan's sequential 2 now available

on beatport!

i believe at least that this are full versions, i have 3 tracks already and they are full lengh on beatport, on other tracks i'm not to sure...2 of them are only 4:30...does anyone can confirm if they are full?

Posted by skip on May-06-2007 14:01:

would be rather cool getting the tunes unmixed and mixed if that really is the case here.

that is if the mix and the tunes are any good. gotta make sure of that first.

Posted by Tenshi on May-06-2007 14:36:

the mix is alright! i've never been a huge hernan fan, always found his mixes quite boring! but this is probably his best up to now! some great tunes like the 16 bit lolita's and livio & roby ones!

Posted by PHg on May-06-2007 15:40:

They're full length alright, really good move. Already picked up the Graham & Blades stormer, the mix itself is a bit boring tbh.

well i've liked every mix i've heard from hernan so this does look very tempting to me!

seems to be up at audiojelly too. and for 8,99 which is a lot cheaper than beatport.
i'm just not entirely convinced that audiojelly has the separate tunes and the mixes both at that price as it's listed somewhat weirdly.

Posted by Tenshi on May-06-2007 16:28:

at audiojelly it's mixed it seems (at least its written there) and the tunes are in the exact order as on the cd! but there are also the whole files included!
so i'm quite confused as you can't see the track lenght at audiojelly

yeah. i first thought it'd be only the mixed ones. but then i saw that they had listed the two mixes on that track list too so that's why i thought it might be both mixed and unmixed.
but i'm not gonna risk 8,99 just to try out. i think i'll email them and ask about it.

Posted by skip on May-06-2007 18:01:

well i've sent audiojelly an email. i hope they get back to me soon and with the kind of reply i'm looking for.

i'll be sure to post it here, when i get a reply from them.

Posted by ThomasNeil on May-07-2007 11:54:

I think the tracks on Beatport are full i checked out a couple of the track lenghts against the track lenght on the single releases which are alreayd out & they seem the same.

AJ generally don't do it, i saw the Sharam GU CD with the individual tracks listed but they were all mixed.

Of the Hernan CD i really like the new Alex Dolby track, fantastic stuff

Posted by skip on May-07-2007 12:18:

this is their reply for me:

"It contains two long mixes and all the tracks as individual tracks as well."

i hope they mean that they're full length too. would be rather annoying to get the mixes and then the same tracks as separate versions but not full length.

so are you going to buy them?

i'm still not sure, because of that james harcourt track! the full release is already out and the track on beatport is over 2 minutes shorter than the full release!

if you buy them please make sure to leave a message here

haha. i'm still not sure either. i sent them another email. i bet they're going nuts there with me asking such difficult questions.
anyway, i'm most likely going to buy them. and sure, i'll post here once i've bought them to confirm if they're full length or not (though i can't know if some tracks have been edited or not).

i don't think they'll going nuts! the audiojelly customer service is really great, friendly and fast (in contrary to beatport)

Posted by skip on May-07-2007 12:51:

i did some calculations and they're definitely not the mixed tracks that are available at beatport at least.
the first cd length on beatport is 76:47, but all the individual tracks from cd1 combined are 109:25.
the second cd length on beatport is 77:48 and all the individual tracks from cd2 combined are 102:23.

so i'd say it's at least safe to buy them from beatport and assuming that they're unmixed full versions (dunno if some are edited then)
but i'm waiting for audiojelly to get back at me as they're much cheaper here and thus i'd rather buy from them.

"they are the mixed tracks as individual tracks (so you could put them into a media player with 0 sec between them and they would play as if a mix but with the ability to skip to the next track in the mix) which is why they are not so sale individually. the continour mixes are there too."

weird though, that beatport has the full tracks and audiojelly doesn't. that really doesn't make any sense at all. could be that the dude from audiojelly doesn't know what he's talking about, but i for one am not gonna risk it.

Looks like those unmixed tracks have disappeared from Beatport. I had a few of those tracks in my crate yesterday but now that I was planning to pay for them, they are gone... fukin hell.

edit: seems like the whole release has disappeared!

Posted by bas on May-08-2007 18:30:

The release is totally gone from Beatport now.

Posted by [B-O-F-H] on May-08-2007 20:23:

It was an oversight on Beatport's part - hence it's removal.
