Frigging Chiggers!!!!!
. A very small, red mite endemic to the Midwestern and Southeastern US, the infestation of which causes intense itching.
OMG went camping over the weekend with the wee ones.....
Now I remember why I hate the great outdoors!!
ugh......my ankle is covered in bites........ at least they did not get in my arse....

ha ha the funny thing is it was not even an official camp out. My Folks have like 80+ acres and we were in the woods that lay behind my folks house. We were like 20 yards to all the privs of modern living, but try saying No to a little 9year old girl that has it in her head that dad is a "super man" and can do anything.....
The chiggers were the easiest, the 3am wake up call we had from a pack of racoons tryihng to get in the tent was the scariest.....

Hey I know, shit I had a blow up mattress in full effect. Even my little girl Pandora was telling me the same thing; 'This isn't camping daddy!" I told her, well you can sleep on the floor with the bugs...I will sleep here. She did not have even a bite, I was a foot off the ground and "BAM" I get attacked..........
