what's the difference between pitch lock and key lock on the stanton cd deck?

if you want good "vinyl feel" and scratch capabilities, get the c.314's. the platter on the c.314's are kinda similar to the platter of a cdj800, only without the outer-ring pitch control. the effects kinda suck on them, they use that tiny black knob to the left and right of the display; it's not very user-friendly. the looping rocks though, it works well and it's easy to use. if you want .02 pitch (as the c.314's only have .1) then get the pio's. i'd suggest the c.314's over the denon s1000's (also in the same price range i think).

If, as O_B ^^^^ said, the pitch is .1 on the Stantons, then don't bother getting them, you would outgrow them in about 46 minutes.

Pio - every time.

lol if only the c314 wasnt such a ripoff and did what it was supposed to do well, i think it would of knocked the cdj 1000 off the market, but its just a piepe of poopy. just get the cdj 200's dude u wont regret.

I'd go with the CDJ200 since it's more likely you'll play on Pioneers in the clubs.

Thanks for the replies peeps, I'm definitely going for the Pioneers!

I've never used the Stantons, but I can say that I really like my CDJ200s. I've never had any problems, and they always perform very well. I'm a fan of the looping and wah (filter) functions.

I think its stupid that they still make cdj's with a disc tray. In a club its soon going to get full of dust or broken off. If your'e going to play out then I would get the pio's as they're industry standard and will be more durable.

If you don't need mp3 compatibility then why not get some c304s?
