What about at the box office or at them usual outlets? Ticketmaster charges way too much.

Posted by KrisSC2000 on May-08-2007 17:03:

Why are there 3 different prices for VIP tickets? $100, $150, and $175? I just got the $100 since I wasn't sure what was up. TIA :-)

Can anyone link me to the Insomniac Events ticket page and why are there 3 different prices for regular and VIP tickets?

Posted by nerdgrl416 on May-08-2007 17:17:

not even sure if VIP is worth it.
Judging from last time I might just get the cheapest tickets.
What's the difference between the three vip prices anyways?

Why is there 4 tix prices GA, $55, $60, $65, $70? And, 3 different prices for VIP, $100, $150, $175?

There are only $55 GA Tix and $100 VIP Tix available. I doubt all the other higher prices are already sold out. So why are they listed and what's the Difference? There's no assigned seating on either one, so that means you can roam the floor? Can someone explain?

*** GENERAL ADMISSION ***
GA61
Full Price Adult
US $55.00
US $10.10
PRICE LEVEL 4
UNRESERVED GENERAL ADMISSION

*** VIP TICKETS ****
----------------------------
VIPGA
Full Price Adult
US $100.00
PRICE LEVEL 3
UNRESERVED GENERAL ADMISSION

There were several different entrance at TIC @ arena last time.

I think it had different price on all the area, as well...

main floor,
first floor,
second floor,

I wonder if this is the case??

But, security team had hard time managing the crowds last time @ TIC.
don't know if main floor ticke is worth buying??

Posted by dajacobo on May-08-2007 19:08:

i really think its only two choices if tickets
you're either general admission or VIP
like other events have been at large venues
maybe the only difference is vip has faster lines and access to their own bars and etc...

TicketWeb does the same thing when there are various prices (Ticketmaster owns TicketWeb).

Instead of just posting the cheapest price and then going up after a certain amount of that cheapest ticket is sold it just posts all the prices and it's up to you to choose the cheapest one. It's really weird and I don't understand it. BUt it's how Ticketweb works, so maybe it's how Ticketmaster works too?

Maybe there is a difference between the prices in the end, but just saying maybe it works like Ticketweb.

the only problem is this...you can only choose the 55 dollar ticket ( general admission) or the 100.00 ( VIP ticket)
not really giving you a choice im guessing as time gets close to the even it may be increasing to the above amount

i believe general admission is the floor in which the most people are going to be.

Posted by DjWoody on May-08-2007 20:06:

so what is everyone getting? I'm thinking VIP..

Posted by dajacobo on May-08-2007 20:08:

i am getting general admission
I would get VIP if i were of the age to drink
but i'm not and i dont mind being with the crowd it makes the experience a lot better

Posted by j_moua on May-08-2007 20:22:

Just wonderin... would any of you guys know what time the event starts and end??

I ALWAYS do VIP at the Sports Arena and so I got VIP tickets. The line is NOTHING compared to the general admission line to get in, the drinks are free, and we get that little section on the side of the stage that is really close but allows for some breathing room IMO. Just my thoughts :-)

Posted by dajacobo on May-08-2007 20:27:

VIP is definitely the way to go if you need some space no doubt

Posted by TheFox00 on May-08-2007 21:17:

Thinking about getting the VIP ticket...does any one know if there are special VIP bathrooms...i have a tiny bladder (especially with the free drinks) and hate to wait in those long ass lines.

Posted by CrazedOut on May-08-2007 21:24:

Free waters with VIP ticket though am I correct?

Wtf does VIP include here...

And what's up with the different prices.

Yes. They always have VIP-only bathrooms in the VIP section. They have them inside near the bars and also outside (Lots and lots) but they are outhouses. These are usually right near the exit to the outside where people go to smoke or get fresh air. HTH :-)

Includes:
-free drinks (water, soda, cheap vodka mixed drinks). But they ALWAYS run out of water IMPE.
-lots of extra room to move around and its sectioned off close to the left side of the stage
-bathrooms just for VIP ticket holders
-different enterance (so fast and easy)

No, last time I had a "seated ticket".
I wish they had a section of the balcony for VIP. I would so jump on the VIP price. The problem is I'm not much of a drinker.

Posted by TSG on May-08-2007 22:05:

I got my 2 general tix. I don't drink so I don't need VIP or a VIP bathroom, just a spot to get my groove on.
