Everything's coming up JPie

Well, not really. In fact my life is kinda in the dumps atm. I'll spare you the sad details and share my bit of GOOD news though, which is that I've been accepted back into my program for next year at school!!

I did so shitty on my finals that I was seriously worried I would be suspended. Thank fuck I finished at the top of the class in my clinical placement, cause I think that's what saved my ass.

I AM on academic probation now though, which sucks assballs. I'm really gonna have to pull up my socks and make the grade next year. If I could just match my intelligence with some good old fashioned diligent hard work, I'd make the honour roll.

So that's my goal for next year.

EDIT: I was on AP my second semester for failing my script class. Fuckin' script class, c'mon it's raddiooooo! My grade list was 8 A's and one F.. and for that ONE class they stuck my sorry ass on AP.

i seem to be running into financial obstacles...one after the other, but i have no fucking clue how i remain positive and motivated. it's really weird because i used to be the laziest, moodiest person ever, and yet lately i just keep on trucking and staying positive. lol

so yea...STILL apartment hunting and saving money and working my two jobs, staying out of trouble and staying single, which is a big deal for me. waiting to go back to school in the fall. but yea, i'm pretty happy lately.

and congrats jenny! academic probation isn't the end of the world. just a little fire under your ass. you'll pull through.

You're fucking right I will. Hence my public declaration of my goal!

I'm really not torn up about being on AP, all it means is that they're gonna baby my ass cause they think I'm a screw-up case now, lol. So w/e...I'll be no different than the rest of the cry-babies in the nursing program, getting hand-held my way through.

Thanks. Yeah I've been so fucking stressed lately...pondered making a couple bitch threads about it, but thought..."Jesus H. Christ, I still have SO much to be happy about...I'm not gonna whine about shit until I have some good news to share!" So yeah here it is!

I was on academic probation two semesters in a row with the threat of being expelled, it's not so bad. Just pull yourself out if it and you'll be fine

At the same time though...any time I pray for my situation to get better (yeah I fucking pray), I also pray for anyone else whose situation is shit. Hehe.

The school I was working for ran out of money and shutdown on Friday. All the kids were crying and it took all my strength not to cry too. Couldn't believe how attached I had gotten, feels like I've had my heart ripped out. On top of that I wasn't given any warning so now I'm scrambling to find another job so I can pay my bills. I've gotten over the shock and just trying to keep positive and productive.

The kids will be sent back to their respective public schools. I really feel bad for them because they come from problem backgrounds without dads or abuse in the family. The last thing they need is more instability it their lives.

If it makes you feel better, my friend Mary failed a bunch of classes and had to do a fifth year at our school but shes got a job lined up right after graduation, which is in a few weeks.

Not that youre going to fail a bunch of classes.
