Ferry Corsten - Galaxia
Is there anyone who dosent like this track?
maybe, but the original especially is a classic. The solarstone remix is still really good and the qattara one is really underrated. Ferry's update wasn't bad either, it's simple but that's all it should/needs to be
think i heard his update the another nights at the BIC. Was nice, sounded a different level to the other stuff he was playing.
I like the 2006 version
Qattara Remix ![]()
Mmm.. the rollin' piano in Qattara's mix does it for me every time. So lovely. Tho the original and Solar Stone remix aren't bad either but i'm not really feeling the other mixes as much.

I dont see the need for an update of this track. Bit pointless.
The Original, Solar Stone and Qattara Mixes stand well enough on there own. I guess Ferry thought he should jump on the bandwagon. Instead of releasing this, he should have made a new track under one of his many aliases.
I wasnt really a big lover of this track anyway, dosnt really do much for me.

Is the Quattra remix of 'Don't Be Afraid' or 'Galaxia'?

I usually don't like remixes years on, but the 2006 update was perfect for what it was
I go mental every time he drops it (I was at BIC too slinkyhead
)
it still gives me insane goosebumps every time I hear it. I loved hearing it played with violins during Sensation White 2006.
its all about Moonman - First Light (DJ Philip Remix)
the original Galaxia was decent. Far from any of Ferrys better productions. The new version didn't add a shit.

i am nonchalant about it...it's nice but i don't go crazy over it

| Originally posted by DJGolf me too, I like it though. The only time I went so crazy for it was last year at Sensation White, the live string performances were INSANE!!!! |
i remember hearing it for the first time in 2001... beautiful song!
the classical remake in 2003 was just speechless, you can feel the chills no matter where/what you were doing.
Was a fan of the original. I was sceptical about the 2006 version, until I heard it at the BIC, where it absolutely rocked the place.
i think the idea for the 2006 version was to fit with his LEF style sound thingy hes pushing over the last few years.
always went for the solarstone mix personally although my vinyl copy had a scratch about 28bars in, which i was not happy about
Fucking classic tune !
I remember hearing it a ultra 4
It sounds almost exactly like the original, which I absolutely love. Man, if there's a single track that really makes me float it's this one!
