hello, i was wondering if you buy a mp3 file from beatport or audiojelly then convert it to wav. Is it the same as purchasing the same wav in beatport or are your just saving that extra 2 dollars

No, it's not the same thing as purchasing the wav. Once a file is compressed the lost data can never magically re-appear.

I said this before already , mp3 is lossy so it loses data once it's created and everytime you change it

go to wikipedia and search for lossy file formats. it will explain pretty clearly how mp3s are encoded differently vs wavs and flacs
