it explains nothing, pure British media bullshit

the documentary focuses on the idea that young Israeli's leave after the army because they are trying to escape war and violence, by doing interviewing hippies.

the truth is Israelis leave after the army for parties, beach, and good old vacation, not because of political or moral reasons

ive been to goa lots of time, and only a small precentage of hippies are there as residents, the rest are pretty much all tourists

boomshankar

edit: bbc = British biased corporation

Huh? I don't get what you're saying. How do you expect this NOT to be a little bit biased? It's a documentary for god's sake, it has to have an opinion! Keep in mind though...it never said all the people who leave the army do this, it didn't even say that all people in Israel listen to Trance. Don't assume that just because BBC are a large corporation that they are automatically full of crap. IMO they still have the best documentaries to be found on any news station.

one of my co workers was in the Israeli military for about 2 years or something and apparently all the soldiers he befriended went to goa to sell drugs and make their money the easy way. yea they look like tourists over there but theres more to that. theres nothing about what he said being untrue as nowadays u just find them lying around the streets doped out of their mind and make goa a junkyard.

i would love to see this documentary for a few laughs

Love their documantaries, Most of them are very nicely done.

Since this is pretty new I doubt that I'll get a positive answer but does anyone know if this is available on the net? through torrents or online video sites?
