The Pvd Review
really i cant say anything about PVD, Blake or RJ because I was outside taking tickets all night... however...
as i was letting people in i had to hand them passes for Dave Seaman next week (which will be awesome) and i hand this one guy a pass and he looks at it real quick and says to me...
"oh yea next week i cant wait to see DAVE SENECA!"
hahahahah please tell me some1 else appreciates this... that fucking made my night
The best Paul Van Dyk show at Vision.
Last yr at the Congress theater he total suck !
i missed pickens (late family dinner), but blake was ROCKIN! i dont think the first part of his set was as good as has can be, but it definitely picked up about a third of the way through. and, especially from 1:00-1:30 the place was going NUTS (I knew i was)
pvd spun a great set, the energy was awesome, but goddamn it was hot like a mothafucka up in there! i liked some of the older tunes he spun, brought back memories, and added some new ones to the same tracks
also... born slippy + feel good inc... ridiculous
now, time for mothers day lunch without having my head explode.
what a glorious weekend.
razzi.
wait i got another one....
so some guy as i was letting him asked me... "did markski go on yet?"
and i laughed thinking he was joking.. but no...he asked again totally serious
AHAHA that's classic!
+1 for doormen & tickets, "Soundbar" = very unfriendly and the "im tough and huge attitude"
Probably my like 8th time seeing PVD and I drove to Columbus,Ohio once 3 yrs back to go see him and I saw him last night...I gotta say that set is up there on top 5 for sure.
No matter what warm up dj's get on before him once PVD lays on first track it doesn't matter! As far as "hot" I was on 1st 2nd 3rd Floor (VIP)--well I snuck in
3rd floor wasnt bad at all..I did get very dehydrated and need water. Mostly took videos i had like 1 beer so I was sober (wanted to remember the night<--
I love the ending credits
"No promoters where hurt during this night" made me laugh

Did anyone happen to get a tracklist?
He spun an encore song in Minnesota after Filo & Peri - The Anthem that I have not heard before but it was an awesome track...
Guitar + Breaks + Male Vocals = FTW!
great night!

Male Vocals--

yeah, I end up flaking out on family stuff a lot due to spinning, working events, etc...
thought i'd have my P's out once, so they can see what goes on and how much ppl love it.
this will most likely be the only time anyone will ever see them at ANY edm show, but having seen what goes into it, they understand and have a little more respect for it. and what better night for them to see their kid play than on a night when the dancefloor fills up 30 mins after the room opens up?
i got done playing at about 1215am, and walked them back to their hotel before everyone's vowels kicked in... didn't need them seeing that part.
HAHA
ahaha--I here ya... They looked like old "tradition" Hispanic family.
How long before you post the set?

I love PVD but we rented a suite at the James hotel and had our own party...I found two unused tickets to PVD's show and used them as a straws.
lmao
